Creating tools that uplift language, culture, and community through technology and heart-led innovation
Tân'si! I'm Miranda Saddleback—Nânâtêwikamik in Plains Cree Nêhiyawêwin 💖✨
I'm an Indigenous technologist, digital dreamer, and storyteller passionate about creating tools that uplift language, culture, and community. I lead with heart, hustle, and a touch of magic. 💻🪶
As Co-Founder of the Mother Tongues Network, I help revitalize endangered Indigenous languages through engaging, accessible video content. We make fluency fun, visual, and rooted in community. 🎥🗣️🌍
I'm also Co-Founder of The Indigenous Woman's Tech Collective (IWTC)—an all-Indigenous women-led team from across Canada offering web development, design, and digital solutions while prioritizing projects that uplift Indigenous clients and communities. 🤝🌐🌸
I'm a passionate advocate for MMIW and Stolen Sisters, supporting awareness and safety planning for Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ people. 💗🪶🌈
For over 20 years, I've carried and presented the Oral Plains Cree Nêhiyaw Creation Story, passed down from my father, Elder Jerry Saddleback Sr., in schools, youth circles, and cultural spaces. 🗣️🔥🌙
I've worked as a Junior Curam Developer at Accenture, contributing to secure digital systems in a federal context, focusing on backend development, packaged applications, agile teamwork, accessibility, and design initiatives. ⚙️💜🌱
I'm growing my skills in web development, accessibility, UX/UI, and Indigenous data sovereignty—building tools and spaces that protect, preserve, and empower knowledge through self-determined tech. 🔐🌿✨
